Advertising

Currently, the Filmandvideo.com website sells only permanent icon billboards for advertising. Think of our billboards just as you would if you drove through the busy streets of a large city. Your ads are for announcing your presence, products and promoting your brand. Most importantly, you don't have to worry about how many times your banner was shown because it's always on! Don't be fooled by the general pricing and statistical analysis under the CPM method that most sites use to list and track their efforts.They're highly ineffective.

All icon billboard advertising on the Filmandvideo.com website will be placed on the left-hand column just under the Search box of every site page (see template just below search). Icon billboards may be stacked to a maximum of three distinct billboards for individual advertisers or an advertiser may purchase exclusive advertising rights for an individual page. Furthermore, by securing the rights for exclusive advertising on select pages, companies can achieve their marketing goals by promoting their message to highly targeted groups of prospective buyers by directly tying ads with our content. While the main page and channel start points (Production, Solutions and Training) are premium locations for advertisers, individual pages hold valuable opportunities and should be targets for your advertising dollars.

We will work with you to best target your campaigns and fill you in on upcoming articles; new pages and other interesting options that will help you succeed. Remember, your ad is always on so you don't have to worry about rotations. We think advertising with static billboards is not only better for you as a client but it also makes our site more attractive and user friendly as well. Remember, we're after the same customers so lets make their visit an enjoyable and worthwhile experience.


Commitment, Terms and Pricing

Icon billboards and prices quoted are based on a 3-month commitment, unless otherwise negotiated. Our billing is done via FAX and our terms are 'Net 30' from the invoice date (generally within the first ten days of the month) unless otherwise negotiated. Prices quoted reflect a 3-month contract without discounts, while 6 month or 1 year contracts receive package discounts and the option for customized packages. All late invoices are subject to late fees. Please gives us a call us for further details and the opportunity to discuss your unique needs.

Sizes and Submission

Advertisers can run up to five icon billboards at one time on the site. Icon sizes can vary with a negotiated rate but are always limited to a 120-pixel width with a max. height of 208-pixels for an extended billboard, and 10k max. file size. Our preferred size is 120x104 pixels (see template just below search). It is also advised that animations be avoided unless approved by us to ensure we maintain a clean attractive interface and unique ad campaign. Yes, we know that banners and billboards are created to entice users to click but we believe that your campaign will be much more successful if done in a tasteful manner! Trust us, we know what we’re talking about. *Artwork that exceeds given file-size limits will be subject to extra per-month charges.

All artwork submissions must be sent to advertise@filmandvideo.com for approval and will usually be processed within 36 hours; in some exceptional cases, it may take up to 48 hours. These submissions should include all relevant information, including old billboard name (if appropriate), new billboard name, and start/end dates. You will receive a reply acknowledging receipt of the artwork and then confirmation of any billboard changes to the insertion.
