Matt De Jesús has been involved with the film and video production industry as a director, cinematographer, and editor since 1980. He taught video production class at Arizona State University for 16 years. The classes at ASU consisted of training for studio and field production, writing, producing, directing, editing, audio, lighting, and grip work.
Matt founded New Horizons Film & Video in 1982 and has won over 28 nationally recognized awards for Directing, Cinematography, and Editing. His clients include: Panavision, Shasta Pools, Discount Tires, Realty Executives and Oldsmobile/Toyota, to name a few.
Matt has been an Apple Demo Artist for several National Association of Broadcasters Conventions in Las Vegas, as well as holding seminars in Phoenix for Final Cut Pro. He has also successfully completed the Apple certification course as a Trainer of Digital Video. Matt and his companies, (New Horizons Film & Video and PowerThinking, Inc.) were the first authorized Apple Training Center in the Southwest.

Bret Granato
Instructor

Bret graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in film production. During and since that time he has worked on several independent feature film projects. Since joining New Horizons Film & Video in January of 2001, he has immersed himself in many projects, all cut on Final Cut Pro. Bret is a production manager for New Horizons Film & Video as well as an editor. He has helped organize and complete several video projects ranging from large film commercial to corporate and industrial videos.
